HUNTSVILLE, Texas -- A twice-convicted killer with a history of violence that continued even after he was sent to death row was executed Tuesday for gunning down two video store workers during a robbery 14 years ago in Dallas.
"...See y'all when you get there," Leon David Dorsey IV said in his final statement. "Do what you're going to do."
Dorsey was the seventh prisoner executed this year in the nation's most active death penalty state and the first of two inmates scheduled to die this week. Two more are to die next week.

Don't mess with Texas!
Just taking out the trash.I like it.
Meanwhile a wart of a federal judge sits on his thumb in California and they continue to die of old age on death row.
You come to Texas and kill somebody and well kill you back. - Ron White
We’ve got some dumb criminals in this country. Someday they’re going to figure out that it’s safer to do their murdering, raping, torturing and maiming in “blue states.” They really need to stay away from the “red states.” Especially Texas. They’ll “kill you back!”
IV is so appropriate.
Now that they are going to desegregate the inmates in California the death penalty will be enforced at a much higher rate......by the inmates themselves.
Leon David Doresy “the 4 th”, So I guess the 1st , 2nd and 3rd can look back on the 4th and thank him for the disgrace!
Florida needs to step up its program. We have too many doing their time on death row. Kudos for TEXAS!
Awesome, another vacancy on Death Row! NEXT!
Love it!
One can never be sure - but I really hope the "there" the late Leon has gone to is NOT the same "there" that I'll be going to!

I notice from the posted schedule, the executioner gets December off for doing such a good job!
There’s one name missing from this list and it depresses me.......Peter Cantu, ringleader who along with “the late” Jose Meddelin (yipee)and 3 other vermin, killed those 2 girls in ‘93. WHY HASN’T HIS DATE WITH DEATH BEEN DECIDED???
Cantu....... can’t answer for sure. I can only offer the following from the link giving the schedule......
Q. How is it determined what date a death row offender will be scheduled for execution?
A. The judge presiding over a capital punishment case sets the date of execution for a death row offender when it appears that appeals in the case have been exhausted. When TDCJ receives a warrant of execution from the court, we add the offender’s name to the list of scheduled executions, scheduling the execution on the date ordered by the court.
