I have enjoyed the music of everyone from Bill Haley and his Comets through Elvis and right up through Billy Joel and the group CHICAGO. But I NEVER could understand all the hoopla surrounding Springsteen. And who the blazes was it that pronounced him “The Boss.” That narcissistic
@-hole couldn’t even carry a tune!

I long ago concluded that if I could have in monetary terms, the DIFFERENCE between what Springsteen THINKS he is worth and what he’s REALLY worth, musically, I could afford to retire to Tahiti....with hot and cold running maids, even!

I cant stand him either. He’s a real whiner in his songs, imho.

He did.

He wanted to be more famous than Elvis and be called the king, but Elvis had that wrapped up. Sinatra had the Chairman of the Board wrapped up, so Bruce decided on calling himself the Boss. Or so it goes.
