Name change paperwork is public information, as you stated. In order for Obama to be named Soetoro, the whole basis of the theory, there would have to be documents pertaining to the change from Obama to Soetoro in 1965....and those documents are public information and have yet to be seen and I'd guess will never be seen because they do not exist. If there WERE such documents, someone would have them by now. Why does one need to prove a name change from Soetoro to Obama (that doesn't exist)...if there was never a name change from Obama to Soetoro in 1965?
As in.....I adopted my niece when she was 5 and she automatically retained her father's name...the name on her birth certificate. For her to have my name, I would have to officially change her name to mine through the State and that would leave a public paper trail.
He was 4 years old when adopted by Lolo Soetoro and the family moved to Indonesia. The adoption changed his name and the old birth certificate IF IT EXISTS in Hawaii was sealed. The new birth certificate states his name as Barry Soetoro, and a copy is now in the hands of the Republican Party. (John McCain has a website called BarrySoetoro.com. You should go see it - very funny.)
In Indonesia Barry Soetoro was registered in public schools as an Indonesian citizen, as a Muslim, and as Lolo Soetoro’s son. It is a matter of public record there. He could not have attended these schools if he had been a U.S. citizen. At the time Indonesia was a police state and authorities checked every three months to ascertain that all papers were correct.

So you adopted you neice; I have custody of my nephew. His name hasn’t changed though he wants it to be changed. He plans on doing that after he turns 18.
