the “Faith in Action” team (3 evangelicals, a Catholic, a Muslim and a Jew— which is trying to inject religion into the Democratic Convention, decided to have a prayer service to start the convention: “the service would be held in a theater, in neutral, secular space, so as not to offend anyone; the question was how to make the televised event look sacred.”
It is an attempt to make the Party look religious, without offending anyone who thinks politics should not be religious.

An estimated 70% of Americans are bi-racial or multi-racial, and most don’t know it until they start checking out geneologies.
There were many reasons why people went west in the past two centuries. Changing your race on census records was just one.
So I will go with reparations right after the Indians are paid and the blacks pay their glad tax. If any are still resentful of not being in Africa, they could forgo the glad tax and use the funds for a one way plane ticket to whichever country they prefer.
Of course, the Indians have their reparations to some extent by being settled on lands over vast oil reserves and getting revenge on the white man by skimming them in the Indian casinos.
