You're right on that.....but that'll happen in Europe first. The Neo Sovs want their old 'stomping' grounds back, all the sheep in the fold. They fear the spreading of NATO force alliances into their former satellites, so go at Georgia's pipeline....to the west and Turkey (another NATO member) and cut fuel supply before winter.

This looks like a siege tactic.
