When I'm reading the local obituaries I am amazed by the number of the Hoopa Tribe who served in WWII in comparison to the Hoopa population...

The movie “wind-talkers” was really, really bad. However, the real story of these men was amazing. I’d love to hear more about the other tribes with lots of volunteers as well.

I work with a branch of the Choctaw Nation (their healthcare system). Cool people. Chief Pyle is excellent, he’s doing great things for his people.
