The Russian people are getting very stilted news. Elsewhere it is reported that there are stories that the Gerogians have many black (ie: US) soldiers fighting with them. In the same article it said Russian’s don’t believe that Russia has invaded Georgia, etc.

To the racists among the Russians, "black" means anyone who isn't a great russian, pretty much. Including all the indigenous peoples of the southern former Soviet Union.
