Yes, I have been there and Mtskheta is only about 1.2 hour drive from Tbilisi. It is only a short time now. I am so sad. Mtskheta is a beautiful and very ancient city.

In which case the Georgians have already lost their capital. It just hasn't been occupied yet. They could make that occupation hard on the Russians, and themselves, or retreat yet again. But to where, and for what purpose if no help is on the way.
