Sorry. This would be a bad choice for McCain. And "virtual" unknown is putting the most positive possible face on it. He *is* unknown.

I don’t know. I think the youth and freshness of a Cantor candidacy would be good. He would become an overnight media sensation. He has more experience in the House than Ferraro had, and hopefully not as much of the baggage. At least he doesn’t have the husband problem Ferraro did.

If Obama picks the dull Sen Bayh as his running mate, Cantor would outshine him in their debate.

But! this could be a good thing. McCain is well known, so he can afford an unknown VP. And when people get to know him, A) His conservative record will rally the base, B) People will see him more qualified to be President than BO and C) He will help in Virginia and Florida (Jews already dont like BO and will support Cantor, yeah not 90% but even 50% could happen).
