BTW, what grades do you teach for science? I’m planning to become a science teacher for grades 4-9. I have to pick two fields, required in Ohio, so I’ve chosen language arts and science.

I teach four units of 7th grade science. In our school, 5th graders are given an overview of the sciences (astronomy,biology,earth sciences,physical science).

6th graders are introduced into Earth Science

7th graders are taught biology and 8th graders are taught physical science.
