How can things rise on excessive drops?
To: Fred
Check out the market in the morning. Oil will probably open and rise a bit, then settle, and probably drop before close.
Depends on the euro/dollar gambit.
If the dollar gains and Euro drops, you can bet oil goes down.
It doesn’t matter if Chavez threatens to pee in the oil.

The Russians dropped bombs near the BP pipeline running through Georgia today. They bracketed it quite nicely.
It's a crystal clear message to the Euroweenies to stay out of this, or Putin will turn out their lights.
Since supply has been threatened, the price is going back up.

How much time before the MSM says “this was all a plot by EvilBOOOSH and his oil buddies to drive the prices up more and get rich?”

All the more reason for Republicans to hit the Dems hard on off-shore/Anwar drilling.
Domestic drilling is becoming a national security issue. We win on this issue whether prices go up or down. And the gang of 10 needs to sit down and shut their lying traps. Those in the House fighting for “The People” are running rings around the gang of 10 posers.
McCain needs to tie this into the economy first and foremost. But if prices shoot up because of this situation, he needs to remind Americans how volatile the situation is. And continue to call for domestic drilling. It's the right thing to do for our children's - children.

I presume the “drop” was in the weekly supply numbers.

USD/EURO outcome would be good. Just keep in mind,
PUTIN and or any other terrorist does not need to keep oil futures rising, all they need is jolts of rises, that brings in millions and millions of dollars extra in very short periods of time.

That pipeline supplies 1% of all world oil exports. It does matter.
