UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) - The United States suggested on Sunday that Russia was interested in "regime change" in Georgia after Moscow rejected Tbilisi's offer of a cease-fire in the separatist region of South Ossetia.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov had told U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice that the president of Georgia "must go," the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, Zalmay Khalilzad, told the Security Council.
Khalilzad then looked straight at Russian Ambassador Vitaly Churkin and asked if Moscow was looking for "regime change."

Gentlemen!
As I can see here you are ready to start the Third World War defending Georgian democracy and justifaiyng their barbaric bombardment with heavy rocket-artillery fire, tanks and war planes civilian population in Osetian capital Tshinvaly?
Who gave them rights to do that. You?
Then you are responsible for thousand of dead RUSSIAN sitizens there.
Are you OK and do you really want it?
I would expect this from Clinton.
Not Bush. These girls are his daughters age for pity sake.
I voted for Bush twice, and I am unhappy with many things he has/hasn’t done.
However, he has always acted respectfully and I don’t think that there’s anything wrong with posing with these girls.
I do think that it’s wrong to be appearing and posing in the midst of this frivolity while this serious escalation is taking place.
It was predicted in Kosovo.
Not long time ago.
Refresh your memory.
I'm guessing they have the right since it's their country?........
UN diddles....NATO fiddles.....

Killing their own people??????

regime change in Iraq regime change in Georgia
If only we had the balls to make the regime change in the miserable excuse of a nation on our southern border...
Gotcha beat. I voted for Bush for Texas Governor too.
However, he looks like a dirty old man posing with his hand a foot from one girl's bent over butt with another one's butt half hanging out.
Even if the problems in Georgia were not occurring I would find this disgusting. If it was any other older man you would also.
Better yet, regime change in Washington, D.C.!
Get lost Newbie.
I’m going to send email and snail mail letters of support to the Georgian embassy here in the US and also to any newspapers I can find in Georgia.
Death to Putin.
Death to Serbia.
Putin has already elevated the situation to hot by flying to Moscow or may be closer to the area of operation. I suppose Bush could fly to Georgia and stake out some territory but the SS would most likely put a kibosh on that. Of course leaving Beijing earlier than planned would escalate this dreadful situation to red hot. Hopefully the Pentagon and DOD have some nasty surprises in store for the Rabid Bear.
“So that’s what this is all about? Kosovo? What is it with Russians and geopolitical penis envy? “
They are protecting ossetian civilian population and carrying peacekeeping mission in that area,Sir.
They have to stop Georgian aggression and genocide of osetian peuple,Sir.
And two questions,Sir.
Where NATO`s war planes. And why they are not bombing Tbilisi yet?
Sir.
Sounds like you still can’t get over being wrong about what happened in the Balkans.
