Rielle Hunter, the former presidential campaign aide who had an affair with John Edwards, said yesterday that she will not pursue DNA testing to establish the paternity of her 5-month-old daughter, despite the former senator's offer to participate in such a test.
In a statement provided to The Washington Post, Hunter said through her attorney that she would not take a genetic test "now or in the future."
The attorney, Robert Gordon, called Hunter a "private" person who is "not running for public office" and would not comment further on the media frenzy engulfing her.

Holding out for a million or two from Playboy?
Or is she holding out for more from Mr. Edwards?
Anyone want to pay me a million or two to shut up and go away?

So what this means is that the baby's messy diaper is worth at least 50 thousand dollars, since it would contain the DNA needed. Some enterprising room maids or housekeepers could get a nice side payday.

Didn’t a Fox news interview of the now better news source than the NYT, the NE, say they had obtained samples? It is not that hard to do, even surreptitiously. I so want to see this moralizing, “caring” lib end up being shown a fraud (again).

I wonder if she was paid off or threatened with her life.

Clearly some late night financial negotiations changed the direction 180 degrees from what her family wanted 12 hours ago.
This is great; Edwards will slowly bleed to death financially as this s**t takes him for all he's worth.
Or, Dem donors can foot the bill for him which is fine by me.
