Rielle Hunter, the former presidential campaign aide who had an affair with John Edwards, said yesterday that she will not pursue DNA testing to establish the paternity of her 5-month-old daughter, despite the former senator's offer to participate in such a test.
In a statement provided to The Washington Post, Hunter said through her attorney that she would not take a genetic test "now or in the future."
The attorney, Robert Gordon, called Hunter a "private" person who is "not running for public office" and would not comment further on the media frenzy engulfing her.

Exactly, she was paid off. That may even have had something to do with his late-night visit. But time will tell, some papparazzi will get a picture of the child sometime, and we will see if the child has “Breck Girl” hair, LOL. It might be the spitting image of Silky Pony.
In California (I’m not sure where the baby was born) if the father and mother are not married, the father has to agree (by affidavit, or by his own signature at the hospital)to be put on the birth certificate - other states vary.
Well she is now reported to have said she will not have the child submitted for testing. So that would make the issue moot. But if she applies for public benefits for herself or for the child, I want a test run. Why should tax dollars go to fund her?
I was told that is the reason why Judaism is matrilineal. Just dad is not enough.
Why should she? It would only complicate her monthly check. If she “proved” Edwards paternity then she would still probably have to fight for a check. She is probably getting more now than she might get following a successful action. Her current level of support also maybe something she feels she can count on for life whereas “child support” would end in 21 years.
Since the Editor of the National Enq. is 100% positive Edwards is the daddy, I'd guess that what you wrote has already been done in one form or another.

Guess it all depends on whether Edwards can stay in good graces with the DNC and the MSM. If so, then she faces years of delays, legal fees in the millions, and a plethora of "nuts and sluts" hit pieces from the liberal rags. 15K a month might actually look good in comparison.
The best part will be when Edwards refers to her as “my baby’ mama”.......
This doesn’t help Edwards at all. He is still toast.
Thats Fine!! She isn’t going to pursue Paternity Testing because she has sold DNA Samples of Edward’s saliva AND Sperm to THE NATIONAL ENQUIRER as well as samples from her daughter. THE ENQUIRER will come out in the next week or two proving Edwards is the scumball Dad, a terrible tag for the krumb cruncher to carry the rest of her life!
Oh WEELLLL!
EDWARDS BELIEVED HE WAS THE HUNTER! BUT THE “HUNTER” NAILED EDWARDS!
So is she going to return the payoff money?
This woman could get rather tiresome, so she had better be careful when Silky invites her out to dinner. He might suddenly have to return to the restaurant for his hairbrush, leaving her in the car to be the random victim of extreme misfortune.
Since men don’t tend to marry party girls they have to find alternative ways to get by in life.
This is all BS. She is not his “ex mistress”. It has been ongoing with all the Dems knowing about it and his campaign big shots too. And she isn’t over yet for him. The one who comes out best in this deal is Hunter.
Well hell. Now we know why the romp at the BH. We also know why he said he was willing. A few $million goes a long way, more so when it is someone else’s money.
On the other hand, that gal had better be on the watch each time she has her hair done. He, too.
“Who stupid do they think the American public is?”
That would make a great bumper sticker or tagline!
Paid of by Edwards, or she doesn't know who the heck the father is.
But if money has exchanged hands, paging the IRS...
