According to the article, he also threatened Bush. I wonder why AP didn’t put that in the headline? Perhaps the candidate is more important than the sitting President.

But this is not headline worthy:

Another person in the class quoted Geisel as saying that "he hated George W. Bush and that he wanted to put a bullet in the president's head," according to the Secret Service.

They are letting go of terrorists who want to kill all of us..so why are they holding this guy for wanting to kill only two people?
Give him back his guns and wait until he actually commits a crime..
But shoot his dogs first.

He threatened Bush also but he wasn’t arrested for that, it is ok to threaten a republican President but a Democrat Senator is a no no. What a bunch of bigoted a**hats!

Threatening a Republican President is not worthy of headline news.

Threatening to kill President Bush is obviously justifiable homocide, but threaten Obama is a crime against humanity. This guy will probably end up in world court and hung.

The Post writes their own headlines. The AP story with a different headline is here, from yesterday......http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2058288/posts

Threatening a Republican President is not worthy of headline news.

Lefties think that's a "normal" thing to do.

The NY Post is moonbat fruit loop nutz on guns. They're even wackier than Bloomie.

I can't recall seeing a single article that was even slightly 'pro gun'. Even when the good guy capped some career criminal.

And I've been reading the NY Post on-line since Al Gore invented this Internet thingy. :-)

I realize this is an AP article but the NY Post made the headline

The difference is that Obamba WAS in florida at the time the threat was made, and President Bush was in Maine.

Bad headline, no matter what...

You might find this interesting. I hadn’t heard of this until one of our cleaning staff mentioned it to me today. She had only heard about Obama being threatened, not Bush. We both thought it was terrible that someone would make that threat. She said something like, “Well, he ought to go to jail. Threatening the president is a serious offense.” I responded, “But Obama isn’t the president, YET.” She looked puzzled, and said, “You know, you’re right, he isn’t.” She was chagrined that the media had conditioned her into thinking that Obama is already the president. I think I know who she’ll be voting against come November, even though she doens’t like McCain much.
