Cops intercepted the parcel. The Sheriff's office agreed to undertake the delivery, which they did. In fact, they knocked on the door and someone got the parcel and put it on a table. They later on did the entry in force.

What they didn't do is first announce that they had a warrant ~ not that they didn't "knock".

Which means this really wasn't a "no knock" raid but rather something else.

There will be a reward (in Heaven probably) for someone who can come up with a name for a "unannounced knock raid".

The "innocuous" operative term is "dynamic entry", which can be either "knock" or "no knock". If they do "knock", the time interval between the "knock" and them tearing the door down is a couple of seconds.

The ONLY time I think something like this should be acceptable is in an active hostage situation. Drug busts simply don't qualify as sufficiently important for even ONE mistake to be allowed to happen.
