Yeah, well, everybody wants to be the next "Buckhead," exposing the next big forgery. Some yutz over at Daily Kos posts something that looks forged ... and probably is, for that matter ... but it's not "official" and AFAIK Obama never actually claimed it was his "official" BC.
IMO, this has always been a non-issue -- I would bet money that Obama really was born in Hawaii, as advertised, and that he can get a legitimate Birth Certificate to prove it.
So ... if you're a smart Obama operative, what do you do? Simple: you do nothing. Commenting on the noise simply generates more noise. And if the noise gets loud enough ... then, and only then, do you produce the real Birth Certificate. And the Buckhead wannabes are eviscerated, and the Obama campaign gets to coast for a while on the grounds that they're "being picked on."

***That’s where your argument fails because Obama’s campaign endorsed the document as authentic. Not only that, but you’re arguing from silence, which you admit when you say that you’d bet money (if the outcome was so certain, no one would bet) and you also say “probably is, for that matter”.
