He just explained it as a combination of Glenn and Hunt, came out Glunt, or something like that, because he was talking to Jonathan Glenn in the control room at the same time he was introducing Hunt.

Shep explained that what he said was a combination of the word “Glenn” (who he was talking with in the booth) and “Hunt” who he was getting ready to speak to, making the word he said “Glunt”. Easily understandable.
