I have them also. It’s my CHOICE. I resent Big Nanny forcing me to choose them in the future, in fixtures they’re not designed for.

I like my old fashioned toilet, and my top loading washing machine. MY choice, not some bean pushing government drone’s.

Oh, I have no disagreement with that at all. I’m merely stating that I do use them, and giving the reasons why.

I recently bought CFLs for my home...cuz I don’t like to change them all the time.

I waited and bought some at Lowe’s that didn’t have “green” packaging or other propaganda.

You may change your mind about the convenience of highly toxic and polluting flourescent bulbs. please read the EPA’s guides for cleaning up a broken flourescent bulb.

It starts by telling you to evacuate the house. Nice. You cannot pick up the mess with a broom or vacuum for fear of spreading the highly toxic contents.
