If I lived in an area where it was mandatory, I would be furious. It’s very scary when parental rights are eroded in this way. I have relatives who don’t give their kids any vaccinations. I personally think they should, but it’s not my right or the government’s right to make that decision.
That being said, if the vaccine is proven safe, I will probably want my daughter to get the vaccine.
I’m guessing that by the time this vaccine is proved safe , if ever, my grandkids will be looking at getting it, because its track record is not so great up to this point and I’m not using my daughters as guinea pigs for Merck.
They’ll learn the importance of getting regular PAP tests, which will do fine in detecting precancerous changes.
