The Clintons have always been ones to carefully choose their phraseology to leave themselves an out. Hillary "suspended" her campaign, she neither quit, nor admitted defeat, nor conceded the nomination. Ergo, she is still in play.
COnsidering the number of liberals who would vote for her and not for Obama, and the fact that she would reap many of those defecting votes from McCain as well, I think it is a real possibility that she will end up on the ballot, even without the Arkanside option.
"The Washington New York news phones lines were buzzing last night and again this morning. The news is considered so volatile two national news producers were telephoned after 11:30 last night for their input. The story? Hillary Clinton is removing her support (such as it was) from Barack Obama and plans for a knock-down floor fight for the nomination at the Democrat Convention in Denver."The whole speculative article would have been more credible if the author (MB26) had provided a bit more detail in the beginning, regarding Mizz Hillary "removing her support". How is it known, where is it known, what is the evidence that she is? As it is it sounds like little more than conjecture from beginning to end.
