McCain should have known that he’d get blowback from Paris Hilton.
We’re certainly complicit in giving Paris Hilton the publicity she loves and craves. I say ignore her.
Her tirade has about as much energy behind it as a small puff of wind.
Paris...get used to it.....your opinion means little.
Someday soon, you, to, will be older......when someone calls you and old, wrinkly person, consider your past remarks.
How she even gets and audience with anything she says is beyond comprehension.
She has systematically reduced what could have beena good life into a bedroom romping spree of videos. You have made your legacy......
I didn’t think it was possible, but my opinion of Ms. Hilton has declined further.
Hey, the best thing McCain could do is pick a fight with the Hollywood left.
It was actually pretty humorous. In the end this hurts Obama more than McCain, because Obama will be viewed as dumber than Paris.
Hey, the whole thing is totally tounge-in-cheek. She’d probably make as much sense in a debate as Obama without a teleprompter.
She’d make as much sense as anyone with a head full of coke.
Unlike reviews of the Paris Hilton video by her former manager and partner Mr Rick Salomon, Paris’ latest submission shows her able to deliver a line, even while multi tasking. She also reportedly shows better awareness and use of camera angles. She is also far less self aware and in control of her emotions, than in her DUI jailhouse video release.
Speaking as a compassionate conservative, I think the sex video industry owes it to Paris Hilton to take a second look.
Personally, I don’t think this hurts McCain, and it doesn’t help her. It sorta proves the point of the ‘Celeb” ad.
I think you missed my implication in the use of “blowback”.
Which left McCain spokesman Tucker Bounds to make one of the best jabs of this election cycle: "Sounds like Paris is taking the 'All of the Above' energy approach that John McCain has advocated both alternatives and drilling. Perhaps the reality is that Paris has a more substantive energy plan than Barack Obama."
Actually I thought it was pretty funny and what was said actually made sense. She’s miles ahead of Obama on a thoughtful energy policy. It might help to watch the video by the way, it’s funny.
Paris Hilton is open to drilling. Who knew?
Yahoo News has a wonderful headline for this story (though it may originate with AP):
“Paris Hilton issues tart rebuttal to McCain ad”
I thought it was brilliant... funny... thoughtful...
She brought sex appeal to McCain’s campaign.. not an easy thing to do.
prolly in her own backyard too
oh was that paris, I didnt recognize her with her clothes on and not in night vision...
