How about.....just don’t have a boat, Al. No chance you’ll pollute or waste energy that way.

The Prius of boats is a sail boat. Don’t even try to prove otherwise.

I saw the pic. It appears to be at least 60 feet, and I guarantee you it has a carbon-footprint several orders of magnitude larger than my gas-powered Baja regardless of the solar panels and “alternative fuels”.

The boat is named Bio-Solar One and has been called the "Toyota Prius of boats", reportedly so efficient it only needs to be filled up with fuel once a year

So the B.S. One only needs to be fueled once a year. Big whoop. We gots aircraft carriers and submarines that only need to be fueled once every 50 years.

The keyword in the article is the word “even”. That is to imply that everything else about dummy here is as pure as the wind-driven snow, which it aint.

I wonder where someone who spent his life as a “public servant” got the money to buy something like this? I really screwed up spending my life working for a living.

What a lame stunt. If he were really serious about ‘saving’ the environment, he’d forgo such ostentatious luxuries like the rest of us. Sheeeesh....

Okay, can't resist — Bipolar One.

How much you wanna bet that he doesn't even hook up the solar panels. He'll just haul them around the world and show off how green he is.

It looks like he could fit a hundred of his fellow eco-saints at a time, relaxing under the shade of the solar panels. Of course, those hundred would have to get their own transportation to the lake, which is 70 miles from Nashville. And I bet not all of his friends are in Nashville, either. They are probably all over the world, he's a Nobel Prize winner you know, and they would have to fly over on their personal jets to Nashville in order to huddle under his solar panels.

Subtract the friends who would only ride on his boat as holograms, though, so there's some savings.

How topheavy is that tub going to be with enough solar panels to power that behemoth?
