While seventeen-year-olds are not little children, they sure as h*ll are not adults. I've been around plenty of kids of that age, including my own three, now in their forties. No way were they adults in their teen years, capable of making life committments. Nor was I or any other teenager I've known.
The FLDS brainwash their offspring from birth, IMO.
Do you dispute Texas’ legally established age of consent? I suppose you’d allow 17 year olds to enter into just about any other contract, or is it only sex that you want to carve out?
