"Maybe if they go deeper into the jungle they can find 125,000 polar bears......"

They better not go in too deep or the Dems won't be able to register them to vote.

Saw that in the theater when I was a kid. It was one of my favorites too.

When I was in the ICU last January, I had nothing else to do but watch TV. There was a segment on the National Geographic Channel about Africa. The gist of the clip was that even today there are vast areas of Gabon and the Congo that are unexplored and uncharted.

Apparently gorilla's can get Ebola...and they are hunted for "bush meat".....

Does that help?

And they can't see some of this stuff with satellites?

I wonder why they wouldn't try?

If they can spot cars on roads, they ought to be able to spot groups of animals on the savanna.

They don’t want to... you can’t raise money and make a career, and pass new laws by having plenty of gorillas.

Not really.

How would gorillas “decline to bush meat”.

I stand by my original statement. Grammatically, the sentence is nonsense.

.......decline in population of these magnificent creatures to Ebola and bush meat,”

Bush meat means they were killed by local hunters....

I believe it's a colloquialism.........

fwiw-

125,000 gorillas? I’m surprised none of them wandered across the fairway at the US Senior Open in Colorado Springs last Friday. It seems like just about every other kind of wild animal did.

“Bush meat” comes from gorillas and other primates and is considered a delicacy in many parts of Africa even though it is more expensive than more conventional meats such as chicken. The gorillas are hunted down and slaughtered en mass due to the African mentality of destroy everything and somehow it will magically reappear, (see Rhodesia as an example)thus the populations of these animals is declining. This increase in numbers will give them some breathing room but the African need to learn to manage their resources otherwise they have just found more gorillas to waste.

I don’t think these guys hang out in the savannas. They live deep within the triple-canopied rain forest. They should leave the brutes alone. I can’t imagine anyone eating gorilla meat.

Some of the sports channels have been showing clips of a large bear wandering around the fairways at the US Open (no golfers eaten, not even any picnic baskets stolen)...but there was also a fox, and one or two deer. Quite a menagerie.

That sentence doesn’t make any sense.

Of course it makes no sense.
To those idiots, any number is not sufficient.

Delusional moonbats.
