Go to a Harley Dealership and look at the bikes, the prices and their HD Clothing, joke Hundred Dollar Clothing.

The guys and gals we know, who go to Sturgis are basically professional DINKs, college degrees and more. They call themselves RUBS, Rich Urban Bikers or as one BIL calls himself, NTRUB, Not too Rich Urban Biker.

There are blue collar RUBs, but they are often high income RUBs.

I have met a lot of RUBs and zero dentists.

There are a few MDs and quite a few high end RNs, guys and gals in ERs, Cath Labs, Heat By Pass Centers.

My first shocker on this was the director of the new ICU unit in a Northern Virginia Hospital in the mid 1960s. He would roar up to the doc’s parking lot in his Hog with a WWI leather helmet holding down his very ample Red Nordic Hair and his size 46 large leather jacket.
