Very true. However its clear intent is to allow CNN to promote its preference with a single, unified voice. It makes one wonder if, perhaps, there are dissenters to the Obama theology??

I agree. What organization would want it’s employees using it’s name on the web, without any oversight?

Totally agree, but are they

1: Disclosed pre-employment
2: In line with collective bargaining (union) agreements covering on-air talent, technicians, etc.

Most of all in a company that holds itself out to be “fair and balanced” (I know that is the FOX term, but you know what I mean), if a poster/speaker was willing to declare that they were not speaking on behalf of the company but only posting/giving a personal opinion, why is the restriction needed, or even worse, (God forbid) PC ?
