does the constitution even address dual citizenship?
don’t think that would legally affect a native US born dual citizenship holder.
BTW
The MSM is not going to touch this story because they know a sizable chuck of the electorate still have a valid belief that Obama is a Moslem.
Imagine if “Obama was not born in the USA” hits the speed of Gossip. Their favorite socialist would have no coronation.
When he was in Indonesia he was listed as an Indonesian citizen in school documents there (that may simply have been a presumptive entry by a clerk). If he was a citizen of Indonesia they recognize dual citizenship, but if I understand correctly, the USA does not for anyone over age 18, they MUST choose. The US certainly does not recognize dual citizenship for elected officials! (For reasons that should be obvious!)
One cannot stop dual citizenship conferred automatically from another country. Otherwise, France could have offered Bush a citizenship in 2006 and he would have had to step down.
Only applying for citizenship elsewhere affects a person’s U.S. citizenship.
