Something has to be amiss with his birth. Why all the deceptiveness otherwise? I’ve always wondered how his parents could legally be married here if the father was still married to another woman in Kenya. Did his father just have to return the chickens and donkeys to the wife’s family for an annulment? Afterall, he did have a child from that Kenyan marriage, and B.O’s mother was already pregnant with him when they claim to have married in the U.S. There’s just too many unanswered questions, and attempts to cover-up the truth by deceit and forgery. The fact that he got this far without having to prove he’s a legal candidate is unbelievable.
It was a “tribal” marriage to his first “wife”. If he had a tribal marriage, it was most likely an Islamic marraige since he was Islamic. That being said, why would he have to do anything with the first wife just for taking on a second?
You've put your finger on what's "amiss": he doesn't know whether or not his parents were legally married or not, and he didn't really want to look into it for fear of what he might find out. He says so in his autobiography. But to jump from that to a story about his mother flying off to Kenya is loopy.
