The issue was initially about birth here or abroad, but has now uncovered the possibility, very very good possibility that he is a dual citizen of Indonesia due the adoption of his stepfather.

Why is that an issue? His obtaining dual citizenship through his father is completely irrelevant to his eligibility to run for President.

If he is a dual, not eligible for POTUS.

There is nothing preventing a natural-born American citizen who is also a citizen of another country from running for President. My kids will be dual-citizens from birth because I am a dual Canadian/American citizen, but they will be eligible to run for President.

You are correct. There is also nothing preventing most Americans from voting against a presidential candidate *because* he holds dual citizenship.

This seems a much more likely reason for forging a birth certificate than Obama being born outside of the U.S.

If he holds dual citizenship, a lot of fence sitters will hold it against him.
