Had an AWESOME counterpoint fly into my brain yesterday while driving around. Here we are being held hostage by some Special Interest Environment groups by not being allowed to build new refineries, build new nuclear plants, drill for domestic oil, burn coal, create umpteen different grades of fuel, etc. Meanwhile, IRAN IS BUILDING A NUCLEAR BOMB! Don't see any large groups of environmentalists crying about that!!!!

I say we follow the leader of Dubai with regards to BIG ENVIRONMENT and tell them to go POUND SAND! This is OUR country too and we are going to become energy independent. And then when we do, they can enjoy all of the fruits of our labor and then they can shut the he|| up when they find out that we did it in an environmentally-conscious way!
