I can understand his original birth certificate being sealed, and it being replaced with one with his adoptive, Indonesian father. But in that case, why not just pull out his original birth certificate that he claims to have? It would seem odd for him to have an embarrassment to hide there—as well as the Indonesian issue.
It is strange that he would have described down to the color the original birth certificate he said in one of his fictionalized autobiographies that he recalled seeing. My guess is he was plotting an eligibility cover up even back then. He never had such a birth certificate, for whatever reason, and Hawaii officially has only his adoptive one now.
Because in Hawaii, the original birth certificate is destroyed when reissued for adoption.
The dual citizenship is the issue I think.
I suspect this is all about something less grand: Did Barack dump his Indonesian fathers name and "readopt" his birth name of "..Hussein Obama"so that he could have better entre into the world of African-American radicalism? Not a disqualifier, but nonetheles embarrassing, in that it makes him look all the more like a poseur.
