Understood. Although I think you will admit that there are various interpretations within the Christian world as to how Scripture should be applied in guiding the affairs of men. But I see no question here that Obama is twisting Scripture in a way that no traditional interpretation of the Bible would support. I am no scholar by far and an outsider but it seems plain to me that his views are completely apostate and in fact hostile.

What I want to know is, since Obama made the accusation, in what way does the Pentagon fall short of the Sermon on the Mount and how does he envision the military living up to it? Does he want to install holy men in the Pentagon to guide military doctrine? As a Senator perhaps he should look to the log in his own eye since Congress has more to do with the overall direction of the military than either the President or military brass. Of course he hasn't been there long enough to affect the military in the slightest.
