So if a threat from Iran causes futures buyers to buy at a higher price fearing decreased future supply.

Then why wouldn't an anticipation of increased future supply have the opposite effect causing futures buyers to buy lower not wanting to be stuck with an overpriced commodity.

Bottom line Pelosi ,you garbage scow witch. Prices began declining when the Executive ban on off shore drilling was lifted. Lift the Congressional ban and prices will immediately drop further.
