The little car is OK for going to the store and local places. I wouldn’t want to be driving it on the Golden State Freeway on a busy Friday afternoon. The 18 wheelers would bury you.

I wou;dn’t want to take one of those on a great American highway, but those things look mighty practical for Tokyo, and believe me, they are not even the smallest cars on the market here.

I have never seen one here in L.A. withOUT a roof. They are getting more common here but they sure are tiny.
There IS plenty of room for two people to sit inside, but then it cuts off at the back and there is no back seat and no trunk, just those few inches of space behind the seats for whatever one can fit in there.
They are cute little cars but I think a person would have to be nuts to drive one around a place like L.A., or any locale where most of the rest of the traffic is huge trucks, SUVs and “normal” sized cars.
