I got the list of House Members from another thread. I just sent an email to my representative from IL, a democrat, and told him to call the Speaker to get back to Wahington D.C. and allow a vote on drilling. I told him Friday’s adjournment and not allowing the other reps to speak was inexcusable. I suggested he head back to D.C. on Monday as well, to represent his constituents.

I’m sure it won’t do much good, but I feel a lot better.

Not that I’m aware of- and I was thinking earlier we should be bombarding the White House with calls- emails etc. but it was pointed out to me -maybe best to let the House run with it for now- let the pressure build. Meanwhile- it won’t hurt to sent the White House an email:)
