It will not mean much if they can not break the media embargo. I was listening to the Ed Morrissey Show Friday when it broke. We were surfing channels and websites looking for news. Apart from Politico, FR, a few blogs and a short bit on Fox there was either nothing or disparaging reports. They had 50 Congressmen on the floor and it got little coverage. Politico
reports that only about a dozen are committed to show Monday. Even the leadership (Boehner and Blunt) are expected to skip it. That will not do it. I am writing emails and making calls but to be honest, I am more hoping than expecting at this point. With any luck, I am totally wrong on this.
They need us to keep shouting. It worked with illegal amnesty. If the shouting continues, and more people join, it will be hard to ignore.
