On the scene Freeper report.
From LGF tonight.
Actually, the historic part of this event was what sparked it... namely the Dems gavelling out the session before everyone got their usual chance to make a speech to the empty chamber. You know those silly speeches into the record where the representative is alone except for the janitor, droning on because he knows no one is listening? Well, because a record number of Republicans signed up for those today (apparently about half of the entire delegation) Pelosi & Co. broke all precedent and tradition and gavelled the session closed early... the vote for adjournment was apparently much earlier, so they were just holding it ready for whenever they wanted to enforce it.
That’s what sparked a few Republicans to demand their speech time... which rolled into more than a few and eventually a whole bunch. Meanwhile, Democrat aides ran about mouthing off in front of reporters about “morons” and how they couldn’t let the Republicans have any press time. Add in the police being called to clear the gallery, and the various cameras, mics, and lights being turned off... and you’ve got this ridiculous, frantic, and very very Un-American afternoon for the Pelosi camp.
