All of the Democrats, and probably most all Republicans, will be at home in their home states by then. Little point in demanding they come back to the chamber for a vote then.

It was a noble gesture on their part, but aside from a little public exposure, I'm not at all certain they effected anything.

With your attitude and outlook, the Dems will win. We need to make noise and KEEP making noise as we did with illegal amnesty. Don’t try to say it can’t work because we have already seen that it does.
