Which raises the question ... is this a recess? If so, then let’s see some recess appointments. But I thought Reid & Pelosi were playing parliamentary games to keep the session open. If so, then these Reps should be able to leverage that. I also recall something about the House and Senate having to sync their recess lets they allow for Article II Section 3 action by the President to set their adjournment to a time he deems proper.

I don't know about the House, but recess appointments only apply to the Senate, because only the Senate has advise and consent power.
