I predict that before the DNC Convention, Obama is going to start appearing in public in "smart" glasses, as part of his re-packaging as a serious grown-up candidate.

Maybe he could borrow a pair from Ashleigh Banfield...

So what they’re going to try to do is make you scared of me.
::::::
Well? This nation should be horrified at the prospect of this carpetbagging radical anti-American socialist fanatic getting anywhere near our White House.

Next time McCain attacks, Obama should dispose of the claims in a sentence - then pivot straight to accusing McCain of trying to distract Americans from the fact that McCain doesn't understand how to fix the economy.

Why does the author think that approach will matter at all? This election is a referendum on Obambi. No matter how hard he tries, he is not going to be able to make it a referendum on McCain.

Your suggestion of him using the big boy glasses actually makes much more sense.

The ad must be working, otherwise they wouldn’t be screaming so much! And by the way it does address the economy. Drill here Drill now.

McCains should say that the best way to fix the economy is to honorably and quickly end this war.

That will go farther toward balancing the budget than anything else we could do.

Winning the war is also what is best in the long run for the national security interests.

The war IS McCain’s strength, whether economic or national security.

McNovocain is finally contesting the President-by-Acclamation, and somebody’s whining.
Enjoy your Pres. Obama while he lasts, ye presstitutes.

That reminds me...I wonder when Baraq will start doing the typical Athletic Photo ops, like the windsurfing, biking, etc. John Kerry did, to show the electorate he has 'vigor'. I wonder what sports he will pretend to play?

I guess he already did do the basketball thing in Afganistan.

“attacking Obama for his strengths. “

His “strengths” are being elite, out of touch and hating the troops?

Well, at least they admit it.

Kirstin was one of Slick Willie’s bimbos, but now she’s an Obama girl. Either way, she’s a dumb RAT.

"Another ad falsely accused Obama of choosing to go to the gym instead of visiting wounded troops in Germany. But Business Week reported yesterday that the McCain camp had another ad script ready to go if Obama had visited the troops - saying that he was using them as campaign props. The actual facts don't matter to the GOP's "Dems hate the troops" narrative."

Assuming the Business Week report is accurate, there is no contradiction here. Obama intended to use the troops as a photo-op, and when he couldn't, he went shopping. McCain is planning ahead. It is called competence. The exploitation of the troops charge sticks because the views of Obama and Kerry are exactly the same. Obama was shamed into listenting to them and was lousy at doing that.

"Next time McCain attacks, Obama should dispose of the claims in a sentence - then pivot straight to accusing McCain of trying to distract Americans from the fact that McCain doesn't understand how to fix the economy."

And what exactly are Obamas credentials as an expert on the economy, that he calls "my committee" a banking committee that he isn't even on?

“How sweet it must be to have found a message for his campaign - but how sad that his message is all about how horrible his opponent is.”

C’mon Ms. Powers, he’s got nothing else.

So, one of Obama’s campaign themes is, “I am NOT arrogant, you sad, racist white person.”

The McCain team is doing a mini-Swift Boating - attacking Obama for his strengths.

So Kerry's strengths were LYING and writing himself up for Purple Hearts?
