Obama wins 12-14 states HUGE and 230-240 electoral votes, McCain wins the rest by close margins but loses the popular vote by 1-1.5 million.
LA will burn for 3 years along with most of the rest of the major cities in the US. Food and fuel distribution halts to out lying areas and millions of refuges flee the cities.

Entirely possible. I don’t see McCain winning anywhere except in the South by big margins. While I don’t think he will, I could see him win OH by 1%.

One of the reasons Obama is likely to win the popular vote is because McCain won’t wing BIG in states like Alabama compared to President Bush back in ‘04. You mulitply that nationwide, and while Obama wins the popular vote, he won’t be able to win crucial battleground states such as Ohio, Florida and Colorado.
