Two questions. How can anybody make up their mind on a story that is so poorly written that it leaves more questions than answers? Who made the diagnosis of broken bones on this young boy before the police officers had to deal with his situation? I was unaware that local hospital trauma teams were dispatched to calls before the police were permitted to intervene.
The story carries the key point: tasering someone 19 times to keep him from getting hurt...
In the many years I have lived in Southwestern Missouri Channel 3, KY3 TV does a better job of reporting the news than other members of the media.
In my dealing with KY3 they have been fair and honest in what they reported.
They are the most unbiased of the TV stations and the local liberal rag. IMHO
What’s your point? you seem to be looking very deep for some way to defend these clowns.
1) “Anybody” could have researched and read other information and stories previous and subsequent to the one posted. It is all over the internet.
2) I never said anyone knew he had a broken back. However, it would/should have been obvious that he was INJURED. I merely stated, from my experience, that when the back is broken one is unable to move very well, if at all, and I thereby implied that a REASONABLE person would be able to recognize that the injured party was not a threat to them.
The police are only supposed to taser/shoot someone who represents a REAL THRAET. It is not suposed to be used as a tool to induce subservience or to punish bad language.
