Talk about arguing about how many angels can dance on the head of a pin. The bottom line is this: as long as we are dependent on foreign sources of oil, it doesn't matter how much we conserve. As long as our oil comes from outside sources, all our sources have to do is turn down the spigot if we start using less.

Obama will promise other nations whatever they want so that they don’t look down their noses at us and think about shutting off our oil.
