1 less seat for Reid to have a majority and thus control of the Senate organization.

Wasn't so long ago that people have forgotten what happened when we "had the numbers"Sad but true. People don't seem to remember Roberts and Alito were a direct result of "numbers". They would have never passed this Senate!

Uh, I’m pretty sure Arnold said he isn’t running against Boxer. Frankly, even as disappointing as he has been he’d still be BETTER than that Extremist Ms Boxer.

Give me a break. McClintock has had plenty of bites at the apples of state-wide elective office. It’s not 1988 any more. A conservative cannot get elected in CA of 2008. L.A. is far too liberal to be carried by a conservative and without making L.A. competitive, you cannot win statewide.

You have to remember it was 1992. Seething anger with inept Republicans and the fumbling of Bush 41 drove a ton of votes. Increasingly liberal women were still angry over the Anita Hill allegations.
Democrats don't seem to get punished for ineptness, only Republicans. Even when in the minority, Republicans are painted as obstructionists to "real progress" that Democrats would make toward Utopia.

L.A. is far too liberal to be carried by a conservative... Then it makes sense for Schwarzenegger to run for Mayor of Los Angeles.
Being a Kennedy and all, it should be a shoo-in

I care! I’m stuck with her and Feinstein and they’re both a couple of idiots. I want to get rid of both of them .. but I sure as heck don’t want Arnold in place of either of them.
