I'm a mulatto and I never knew it wasn't a "nice word" until someone here pointed out the politically correct perception of it.

It's a descriptive term. Just like there's actually a country in Africa called (gasp!) Niger.

How is it that what I said is “insulting” to your black family? Are you trying to play the race card with me? I’m sure the Moderator will agree with me that you are way too sensitive and trying to make an issue out of my response to your quote as noted above in your post #34.

The way you stated your quote (see above) was that Obama could have chosen to be “White” just as easily as he chose to be black?
