The comments presumptive Democratic nominee Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) made about his race in Union, Missouri on Wednesday--was not the first time Obama talked about his expectation that the Republicans will use race to detail his candidacy.
Last June at a Florida fund-raiser Obama--the first African American to have a viable chance of becoming president--said the GOP will go after him because he is black.
Obama said then, "The choice is clear. Most of all we can choose between hope and fear. It is going to be very difficult for Republicans to run on their stewardship of the economy or their outstanding foreign policy. We know what kind of campaign they're going to run. They're going to try to make you afraid. They're going to try to make you afraid of me. He's young and inexperienced and he's got a funny name. And did I mention he's black?"

Not always.(((((Hugs)))))
Exactly. They know how to play the game-but the sad/funny thing is, they couldn’t get away with such an unfair game if it wasn’t for the self-loathing whites. I wish their mommies had hugged them or something, look at what the rest of us have to deal with because of it.
Oh nooos! That wouldn’t be anything like “niggardly” would it?
And even *that* is a fraud. He isn't black, he isn't half black, he's 1/16th black, and has never lived his life as an African American at all. He's as phony about that as he is about everything else. A total, empty, counterfeit Armani suit...

So why hasn't he embraced his "Whiteness"? After all it was the White side of his family that took him in when the Black side rejected him and saw to it that he got the education that has put him where he is today. Yet his ingratitude and disdain are resounding.
I think Obama still has some deeply personal issues he has not resolved, and now that he is running for President, the Presidential race is no place to solve them for Obama.
The one word that comes to mind to describe Obama is NAIVE. I find it amusing that this country is ready and accepting for a Black President, but the candidate has big unresolved personal racial issues that can not be overlooked. The USA voters were ready to move past race, but Obama isn't, he has not evolved.
I will not vote for Obama, because of the content of his character, and where he stands on the issues. Obama is weak and shallow, and ultra liberal, marxist , socialist bigot.
