This whole things sounds absolutely ridiculous and your description is valid. I am seeing more and more stories on tazar use, bashing in wrong doors, and shooting pets. The militarization of our police forces marches on and people here defend it to the nail even.
I think there's only selective support. Since drugs are involved, many won't object. Now if it were about sending a boy back to Cuba... then of course you'd have all sorts of people objecting to the "militarization" you speak about.
I think it’s time we gave serious consideration to a ban on no-knock raids unless there are hostages, a sniper, or a terrorist with a bomb involved. I read about this crap every other day, and it’s obvious we have a bunch of roid-raging morons with small-penis issues manning these thug-squads. They need to be reigned in.
