i think my major disconnect is that i have been on the other side of a door that i have to go through with zero idea of what is waiting for me. Yea, the job you signed up for, the kinda thing you live for I assume. Your safety is less important than the people you are busting in on. You need to go out of your way and sacrifice to ensure the safety of people and their property (dogs included). If that means extended danger for you, so what? To protect and serve, right? I could care less about the occupational hazards of the job you chose when compared to the rights of Americans.
