My Soldiers and I did much the same thing in Iraq for about a year. We DID get intel on why we were hitting this particular house, and we also exercised proper restraint against the household and their possessions (they don’t have pets). Very often our intel was wrong, too, and we would hit the wrong house.
These actions by these SWAT teams smacks of amateurish nonsense. Pure fear, lack of professionalism, and most likely a sense of “we can do whatever we want, because no one will questions us.”
These guys are pathetic.

Thank you for your service. It is folks like you that restore my hope for the country after hearing about the 'we were just following orders' types.
